Situated mere steps away from the wharf, you can also walk to the golf course up the hill, the nearby restaurant, Cape Tryon lighthouse or the Beach at Yankee Hill. I have walked the beautiful loop through the River road, up to the Cape Road and come out on Rte 20 by Campbells Farm and followed it back to the wharf, it is about 5 kms.
